Intaglio printing on front side
Advanced intaglio printing prints on front side note-issuing banks' designs, and Braille numeral and tactile lines dedicated to the visually impaired, thus giving the note an enhanced embossed feel.
Numbering and Varnishing
Each single note on the printed sheets is individually numbered and both sides of the sheets are varnished with a protective layer.
Integrated process of cutting, quality inspection and packaging
Printed sheets are cut into single notes by fully automated system. All single notes are then checked by an automatic banknote processing system. After this final quality check, single notes are strapped in packets and stored in vault awaiting collection by the note-issuing banks.
